Building a Costume Community

Back in May, Chloe Chapin & I co-led a 4 day workshop on Costume History Pedagogy. One participant, Michelle Souza, wrote a lovely article, published in Howl Around about her experience.

We are excited about the future plans: newsletter, discussion groups, book clubs and another conference next May. We're having a reunion at the end of this month with the May participants to help guide our future conversations. While there is an enormous amount of uncertainty about the performing arts industry, I am treasuring the opportunity to create new connections.
