Spent some time this week learning some tricks with AutoDesk Sketchbook. I've now figured out the color picker and working with layers. Full disclosure- the sketch of the boy is traced as I wanted to work on top of a photo but still capture the essence of a sketch. There are a series of fast 30 second gestures, and two 5 mins ones.
