Back in Michigan, my final pieces got their initial rinse and then all the pieces cooked a bit in our dye vat to set the colors. Everything is pressed out and done. The velvet is set, though I'm going to work into it a bit more. The fabric is restored to its original hand, and while some of the tones softened, most are still vibrant.
The Great Wash Out

I absolutely love what you've got here. Even though I was in the room when it happened, so to speak, I think I missed half of what you did. Now I see through your writing how you tackled the problems, and evidence (!!) succeeded. I had a blast, your fabric is great, and you are kind to share this week with the world. Thank you!
What a great exploration
